            ᎇ䋠ʮ଺࿁ʮ΍ዚ࿴ٙਪப׌ʿீ׼ܓʘಂૐၾ˚                       With rising public expectations on the accountability and
            ࡆᄣd္၍҅̀඲ᆽڭࡰʈՈ௪ᄵБᔖபeጐ฽Ϋ                       transparency of public organisations, the EAA needs to ensure that
            ᏐࣛՍစᜊٙɽ଺ൡӋd˸ʿၪܵ৷؂ਕ˥̻ٙঐ                       its staff are equipped with the necessary competencies to discharge
            ɢfЪމ͉҅ɛɢ༟๕ഄଫʘɓd္၍҅ߧɢ౤Զ                       their duties, respond to the community’s evolving needs, and
            ΢ᗳ༟๕€ܼ̍ʫ௅ʈЪѥe࿁̮ٙ੃৅ሙ೻ʿ੃৅                      achieve consistently high levels of performance. As part of its
            ༟пഃd˸˕ܵࡰʈٙԫุ೯࢝ʿ౤৷˼ࡁٙਖ਼ุ                      human resources strategy, the EAA is committed to providing
            Ҧ̷ձᘩنɢf                                      various kinds of resources, including in-house workshops, external
                                                         training programmes and training sponsorship, to support its staff’s
                                                         career development and enhance their professional skills and
                                                         competencies.


            ္၍҅ٙࡰʈԒމʮᐄዚ࿴ٙɛࡰdᏐ࿁ԣ˟஭Ϯ                       Being employees of a public body, EAA staff should have a high
            ʿ༐ڦԫ֝Ϟ৷ܓႩٝfϞԈʿϤdҢࡁމ੽͊̈                       level of awareness on corruption prevention and flawless integrity.
            ࢩก݁ʮ໇޼ীึʿϞจࠠ๝޴ᗫٝᗆٙࡰʈdτ                       For this purpose, a talk by the Independent Commission Against
            રਞ̋ก݁ʮ໇ٙ˜ԣ˟஭Ϯ™ᑺࢭf                            Corruption (“ICAC”) on “Corruption Prevention” was organised for
                                                         staff who have not attended the seminars conducted by the ICAC
                                                         and for staff who would like to refresh their knowledge.


            ͟׵္၍҅ࡰʈӊ˂ცၾʔΝܵ΅٫ŊʈЪྫМટ                       As EAA staff need to deal with different stakeholders/working
            ݻdϞႭ؂ɢٙʫ࢙ʿڌ༺˙ό݊ϓ̌ٙᗫᒟfމ                       partners every day, the ability to structure and present ideas
            ə̋੶ࡰʈڌ༺จԈʿᝈᓃٙঐɢd˸ʿঐίࠗʲ                       persuasively is critical for success. To enhance staff ability in
            ٙࣛගɨЪቇ຅ٙБਗd͉҅ίϋʫމΌ᜗ࡰʈᑘ                       expressing their opinion and standpoints as well as giving
            ፬əΤމ˜ϓ̌ٙڌ༺Ҧ̷™ٙʈЪѥf                           appropriate responses under time pressure, a workshop on
                                                         “Winning Presentation Skills” was organised for all staff during the
                                                         year.


            ͉҅Νࣛ༟пࡰʈਞ̋ၾՉʈЪ޴ᗫٙආࡌሙ೻d                       Staff were provided with sponsorship for attending their self-
            ˸̋੶˼ࡁίʈЪ˙ࠦٙٝᗆʿྼତࡈɛԫุ೯࢝                       initiated job-related programmes to enhance their knowledge at
            ͦᅺf                                          work and to meet individual career development goals.


            הϞ੃৅ݺਗϙί౤ʺ္၍҅ࡰʈٙਖ਼ุٝᗆձҦ                       All these training activities aim to enhance the professional
            ঐd՘п˼ࡁး࢝הڗd๟௪λڎટ˚ܝһɽٙܿ                       knowledge and skills of EAA staff, to develop their full potential
            ኷ձ௴ிһሾ๯ٙϓఱf                                  and to prepare them for greater challenges and achievements
                                                         ahead.
