ήପ˾ଣ္၍҅ྼਕᗇࣣሙ೻ EAA’s Certificate Programme in Practice
މԴܵ೐ɛ౛౥ήପ˾ଣϞࣖੂุהცٙྼ͜ʿج To equip the licensees with the necessary practical and legal
ܛٝᗆd္၍҅І2016ϋৎᑘ፬Τމ˜ήପ˾ଣ္ knowledge for effective estate agency practices, the EAA has been
၍҅ྼਕᗇࣣሙ೻™ٙഐ࿴׌ሙ೻fϋʫd္၍҅ organising a structured programme titled “EAA’s Certificate
ᑘ፬ə20ࡈሙੀdіˏ2,978ɛϣਞ̋fሙ೻ٙʫ Programme in Practice” since 2016. During the year, 20 classes
࢙˸ήପ˾ଣٙ˚੬ʈЪݴ೻މ˴dᜫਞ̋٫౛౥ were held and they attracted 2,978 enrolments. The contents of
Ϟᗫ˚੬ੂุٙྼਕٝᗆfሙ೻ʿᇖ୦ѩ˸ʝਗ˙ the programme are mainly focused on estate agents’ daily
όணࠇd̋੶ਞ̋٫࿁يุʹ׸ʘجܛʿ္၍ࠅӋ workflow, emphasising practical knowledge for everyday practice.
ٙə༆fᛠ׵ਞ̋٫ˀᏐԄλd္၍҅ٙྼਕᗇࣣ The classes and exercises were specially designed to enhance the
ሙ೻ึ֛ಂᑘБdᜫܵ೐ɛ౛౥௰อٙٝᗆձҦঐf participants’ understanding of legal and regulatory requirements of
property transactions in a lively and interactive manner. In light of
the positive responses from the participants, the EAA’s Certificate
Programme in Practice is regularly run with the most updated
knowledge and skills offered to the licensees.

Associations and Regulatory Bodies
މ౤ԶᄿعϾεʩʷٙܵᚃਖ਼ุආࡌሙ೻ʿݺਗd In order to provide a broad range of diversified CPD courses and
္၍֛҅ಂᒗሗਖ਼ุྠ᜗ʿ္၍ዚ࿴ٙ˾ڌΣήପ activities, the EAA regularly invites representatives of professional
˾ଣ੽ุࡰ˴ᑺᑺࢭfϋʫd္၍҅ၾεࡈਖ਼ุྠ associations and regulatory bodies to give talks to the estate agency
᜗ʿ္၍ዚ࿴ΥЪᑘ፬ə26ఙܵᚃਖ਼ุආࡌݺਗd practitioners. During the year, 26 CPD activities were organised in
ΥЪዚ࿴ܼ̍त஢ʮႩึࠇࢪʮึe܊ρ໇eᘩن collaboration with various professional associations and regulatory
ԫਕ։ࡰึe̻ഃዚึ։ࡰึe࠰ಥၠЍܔጘᙄ bodies namely: the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants;
ึeɝྤԫਕஈe࠰ಥᐄிࢪኪึe࠰ಥ಻ඎࢪኪ the Buildings Department; the Competition Commission; the Equal
ึe࠰ಥܲ౧ᗇՎϞࠢʮ̡eࡈɛ༟ࣘӷᒯਖ਼ࡰʮ Opportunities Commission; The Hong Kong Green Building Council;
໇e࠰ಥᙆਕஈeߵ਷ެ࢕त஢಻ඎࢪኪึd˸ʿ the Immigration Department; the Hong Kong Institute of
ɓ˓Иσيุቖਯ္၍҅f˿ɛོႀٙ݊dܵ೐ɛ Construction Managers; The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors; The
ίʔᓙ৛Ӌٝᗆɨ˿˼ࡁ࿁Չ˼ኪ߅אਖ਼ุᇍᖚପ Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited; the Office of the Privacy
͛ጳሳdΪϾίήପ˾ଣุޢҖϓəɓ၇ਖ਼ุኪ୦ Commissioner for Personal Data; The Hong Kong Police Force; the
ٙ˖ʷf Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; and the Sales of First-hand
Residential Properties Authority. It is encouraging to note that the
licensees’ increasing quest for knowledge has led to their interests
in other disciplines and professions, thus facilitating a culture of
professional learning within the estate agency trade.
