New posters and pamphlets remind public
not to conduct unlicensed estate agency work
EAA has produced a new poster and pamphle t to remind those working in property management offices, security guards, caretakers and other members of the public not to conduct unlicensed estate agency work. According to the Estate Agents Ordinance, it is a criminal offence for any individual or company without a valid estate agent's or salesperson's licence to carry out estate agency work.
The posters and pamphlets have been distributed to property management companies, to Owners' Corporations of residential/commercial properties and, thanks to the Police's Security Personnel Permit Section, to security guards as well.
