For the purpose of enhancing estate agency practitioners' professional skills, maintaining practitioners' competitiveness and increasing the quality of estate agents' service, the Education and Manpower Bureau (EMB) has launched the Real Estate Agency Industry Skills Upgrading Scheme. In the first phase, 11 courses were introduced which include practical language usage (both English and Putonghua), estate agency management, customer service and the understanding of China's estate agency service, etc. In the second phase, apart from the 11 courses, newly developed courses such as fengshui, land administration, conveyancing practice will also be added and it is expected that the courses will be launched in October.
