e-Learning programmes
Mobile version of e-Learning programmes is now available

e-Learning programmes is a form of online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity offered by the Estate Agents Authority free of charge.

Participants will watch a video-taped programme to enhance their knowledge of the relevant subject. After watching the video of the e-Learning programme, participants will be asked to complete a programme-end exercise. The CPD point of that particular e-Learning programme will be awarded to licensees who attain the pass mark (i.e. scored 50% or above) of the e-Learning programme. Participants who passed in the exercise can still re-watch the same video, but cannot take the same programme-end exercise again and cannot earn any CPD points from the same e-Learning programme.

Participants who failed in their first attempt will be given another chance to re-enter the exercise. Those participants who failed in both attempts can only re-watch the same video, but cannot take the same programme-end exercise again and cannot earn any CPD points from the same e-Learning programme.

Starting from 15 July 2021, licensees are required to watch at least 75% of the video hours of the e-learning programme before they can answer the programme-end exercise by clicking the "Next " button. Licensees may revisit the programme at any time after completing it, but the CPD points will not be repeated.

[Remarks: Participants must be a valid licence holder on the day of undertaking the e-Learning programme; otherwise, no CPD points will be earned even he/she has completed the programme.]

Target Participant

e-Learning programmes are available for valid licence holders only.

CPD Points

No cap for CPD points earned through web-based distance learning

Starting from 1 October 2014, the cap of CPD points that can be earned by undertaking web-based distance learning activities over a 12-month CPD period (i.e. from 1 October to 30 September of the following year) has been removed until further review.  In other words, in calculating the CPD attainment for each CPD period, the number of CPD points earned by taking web-based distance learning activities is no longer capped.  For more details of the cap of CPD points in different modes of learning, please refer to Section 5.1 of the CPD Guidelines.

For more details of the calculations, requirements and examples, please refer to Section 5.3Section 7 and Table 1 of the CPD Guidelines.
